NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Mining Hasrate

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB is an older generation card without the bells and whistles of the RTX cards released in 2018. Still, the card is regarded as an amazing option for gaming. In terms of mining performance, the card is on the weaker side due to the low VRAM. Thus, you should try to mine other coins that do not require more than 4GB VRAM instead and convert them to your coin of choice. However, it is very difficult to get your hands on a GTX 970 4GB as card production has been discontinued and the world is currently going through a chip shortage.

The cards are not as recommended for mining as in the past due to the increasing Ethereum DAG size, albeit you can still try to mine other newer cryptos or coins with algorithms that do not require 4GB of VRAM. If you do have a GTX 970 in your possession, you can also opt to sell the card and get an easy 50+% profit margin. Here’s a video discussing this in more detail.
